UI/UX Website Designer (Remote)

Remote Contract

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Remote UI/UX Website Designer to craft stunning, user-centric digital experiences. In this role, you will own the design process from conceptualization to final high-fidelity mockups, ensuring our web platforms are visually compelling, intuitive, and conversion-optimized.

As a remote team member, you will collaborate closely with product managers, marketing teams, and frontend developers. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of layout, typography, user psychology, and modern web responsive design standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Design: Create wireframes, user flows, process flows, site maps, and high-fidelity visual designs for desktop and mobile interfaces.
  • Conceptualization: Brainstorm and execute original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex technical or business requirements.
  • Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas, user journeys, and micro-interactions to stakeholders and developers.
  • Collaboration: Partner with full-stack and frontend developers to ensure design integrity is maintained during the development phase and assets are correctly handed off.
  • Design Systems: Maintain, scale, and enforce our internal UI kit, component libraries, and brand guidelines to ensure design consistency across all web pages.
  • User-Centric Optimization: Analyze user feedback, heatmaps, and A/B testing data to iterate and improve existing website designs for better conversion rates and engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional web design experience supported by a strong digital portfolio showcasing live website designs.
  • Design Tools: Mastery of Figma (highly preferred), Adobe XD, or Sketch. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • UI/UX Principles: Deep understanding of user experience principles, grid systems, responsive layout behaviors, typography, and color theory.
  • Developer Hand-off: Proven experience preparing design assets for development (exporting SVGs, structuring layers, defining spacing tokens, and responsive constraints).
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions, accept constructive feedback, and present ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and component-based frontend frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, React, or Webflow capabilities), which helps in designing developer-friendly layouts.
  • Experience creating custom graphics, iconography, or vector illustrations.
  • Experience designing for SaaS, e-commerce, or marketplace platforms.

What We Offer

  • 100% remote work flexibility with flexible working hours.
  • Competitive salary package.
  • A collaborative environment where your creative voice directly shapes the product strategy.
  • Access to modern design tools and professional development resources.
